 when it comes to an extra layer in spring i suggest you choose a light spring or jeans jacket , sweaters,hoodies, and maybe a nice simple leather jacket.

you do not want to be bulky in spring the weather changes a lot it can go from chilly to super humid or hot outside . with a light coat you can easily taking it off and putting it in your bag. at least you will know that at least if it gets chilly you would have an extra layer covering your arms. a spring coat or an light coat is also fashionable and comes in all sorts of colors . make sure your light coat goes well with your outfit. a light coat for spring puts half of the outfit together.
